Kerr Welcomes Medicare Advantage Provider
New approval means more options for Arkansas seniors – Kerr
LITTLE ROCK – Arkansas Insurance Commissioner Allen Kerr today released the following statement announcing his recent approval of United Healthcare of the Midlands, Inc. (UHML) to offer Medicare Advantage products in Arkansas:
“I am happy to announce this new approval, as it means that Arkansas seniors will have more options available to them when they shop for Medicare Advantage coverage. Showing that our state is open for business will attract more companies to our state, which will result in lower insurance rates thanks to competition.”
UHML has requested and received approval to operate in the following counties: Benton, Carroll, Crawford, Garland, Jefferson, Pulaski, Saline, Sebastian and Washington. The company currently offers a variety of products to groups and individuals in the states of Iowa and Nebraska.
