Kerr Named Chair of Auto Insurance Panel
Working Group to focus on availability and affordability for consumers
LITTLE ROCK – Arkansas Insurance Commissioner Allen Kerr today released the following statement on being named Chairman of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners’ (NAIC) Auto Insurance (C/D) Working Group for 2017:
“I am very grateful to my fellow state insurance commissioners for granting me the honor of serving as chairman to this important panel that works for auto insurance consumers across the country. Arkansas consumers pay some of the lowest auto insurance rates among our bordering states. I look forward to the working group seeking availability and affordability solutions for consumers in 2017.”
About The Auto Insurance (C/D) Working Group
The Auto Insurance (C/D) Working Group of the Property and Casualty Insurance (C) Committee and the Market Regulation and Consumer Affairs (D) Committee reviews issues relating to low-income households and the auto insurance marketplace; making recommendations, as appropriate. The Group will also consider the collection of data to evaluate the availability and affordability of auto insurance.
